CJ Sardi was established at a kitchen table on the Jersey Shore in 2002, by mother-daughter duo, Wendy & Cara Jones. Equipped with little more than a few Swarovski crystals, semi-precious stones, a passion for fashion--and a whole lot of moxie--CJ Sardi started small and dreamed big. In the beginning, the girls hosted numerous “jewelry parties” and sold a few pieces to local boutiques. The immediate response to the jewelry was overwhelming, and after a push from now-sales manager, Shirley Martin, Wendy & Cara decided that it was time to introduce their line to a national audience. Fast forward three years later-- CJ Sardi is now a nationally-recognized player in the fashion jewelry scene, has received favorable press, and can be found in hundreds of stores across the nation. In 2005, CJ Sardi began international distribution into luxury department stores in Japan.

CJ Sardi designs fashion jewelry pieces that marry fashion’s latest trends with practical versatility. “I want to create jewelry that is beautiful and fun,” explains Cara. “Personally, I love fashion jewelry that I can put on again and again, and that’s what our customers love, too. Color, texture and sparkly crystal are important to me, so we make sure that each CJ Sardi piece has those elements in it.” With this philosophy in mind, the resulting collections are unique, whimsical, and most importantly, highly wearable.

A broad range of components and materials are used each season, including bohemian glass pearls, Czech and German glass, cast resin and enameled pewter. Clasps and jewelry findings are crafted of sterling silver, pewter, rhodium-plate or gold-plate. Most of CJ Sardi’s designs incorporate the use of Swarovski Crystal Components (the finest Austrian cut crystal). “We love working with Swarovski crystal,” says Wendy. “It’s that little bit of sparkle from the crystal that really makes our pieces shine.” CJ Sardi pieces do sparkle--right down to the stamped “sparkle” on their logo tags!

With fanciful names such as “Sugar Crystals”, “Jellybeads”, and “Girlie Pearls”, CJ Sardi jewelry features the use of fun colors, unique textures and fashion-forward design. A cohesive line, the collection’s pieces are designed to coordinate well with each other, many featuring complementary necklaces, bracelets and earrings. At reasonable price points (most jewelry currently retailing between $10.00-$96.00), consumers may select numerous pieces and quickly build a CJ Sardi fashion jewelry wardrobe with original and quality designs. Collections are launched seasonally three times a year.
