Q: Who is CJ Sardi?
A: CJ Sardi is actually two people—the “CJ” is designer
Cara Jones and the “Sardi” refers to her mother/partner Wendy
Jones. “Sardi” is an abridged version of Wendy’s maiden
name.
Q: Does CJ Sardi offer collections and/or one-of-a-kind pieces?
A: Yes and yes. Currently CJ Sardi offers a fall/winter and a spring/summer
collection. Upon request, CJ Sardi may work with a client for a one-of-a-kind
design. Some exclusive pieces are also available for sale in the boutiques
which carry our line. Please view our current collections pages.
Q: What kinds of materials does CJ Sardi use in their pieces?
A: We’re particularly fond of Swarovski crystal components because
of their unsurpassed colors, quality and faceting. Czech Republic fire-polished
crystal is also used for its rich hues and sparkle. Semi-precious and sterling
beads are also utilized, and most of our clasps are sterling silver, rhodium-plate,
or gold-plate. We also select antiqued pewter findings and castings and
utilize the industry’s highest quality stringing materials.
